As a personal coach, I partner with clients to help them overcome conscious and subconscious obstacles to their preferred outcomes. I provide collaboration and accountability on client-centric, strength-based and value-driven strategies for achieving self-directed changes and enhancing subjective well-being.
Coaching does not involve assessment or treatment of mental health. I work with high-functioning individuals on problem solving and personal development. I do use positive psychology assessments and interventions and I draw on philosophical and contemplative traditions to create what we might call "Good-Life Coaching" or (as one client calls it) "Happiness Training."
I am a Colorado DORA Registered Psychotherapist with 15 years experience in private practive. I have extensive education, professional training and certifications in varied disciplines including: Health and Wellness Coaching, Well-Being Coaching, Applied Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, addictions counseling, Clinical Hypnotherapy and NLP.
